Catholic Theological Union's Summer Institute consists of one and two week intensive courses for those interested in earning credit for degrees or continuing education. Students may earn 1.5 graduate quarter credits or 1.2 Continuing Education Units (CEU) per course. Some courses are only available for three credits. Costs: $200 per course for CEU's; $795 for a 3-credit hours course; $397.50 for 1.5 credits. Housing is available. SPECIAL SUMMER PROGRAM
Women, Ministry and the City (WMC): A Study/Action Program for Women in Ministry
WMC runs for seven weeks, June 12-July 28 and is for women who want to integrate their faith and theology with the practice of ministry. It includes summer study and hands-on ministry in a variety of ecumenical settings. Participants in the program will encounter the world of holy people and make meaning of what they have already and will experience as God's people through ministry practica and weekly reflection.

Class sizes are limited. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, with priority given to Meadville/Lombard MRP students. To register, send in a registration form plus a $65 per course non-refundable registration fee no later than May 26.
Registration fees are not applied toward tuition fees.
One half of the tuition is due by April 28. Tuition is due in full by June 9. In the event of withdrawal from a course, tuition will be refunded through June 1. Meadville/Lombard Theological School offers three weeks of Graduate Intensive courses in the summer as well as in January. Each course is taught for one week, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a substantial lunch break. Students receive course syllabi several months in advance, and are required to complete readings and some assignments before class sessions. Term papers and/or course projects are due by the end of the respective term (Summer term: September, Winter term: March).
The Intensive courses are designed particularly for students in the M/L Modified Residency Program, and for ministry students at non-UU schools. They are open to M/L residential students, and as space permits, to ministers, DREs, and others seeking to do graduate work.
Classes are limited in size. Priority in registration is given first to Meadville/Lombard students, second to persons studying for the Unitarian Universalist Ministry, then to others taking the course for credit.
Graduate Intensive courses carry one unit of credit at Meadville/Lombard, the equivalent of three and one-third graduate-level credit hours.
